Sustainability report
With the UMAGG initiative, Augsburg University Hospital (UKA) is strategically embedding sustainability in all key areas of activity. Transparent and systematic sustainability reporting is an essential part of this development.
2024
The UKA is publishing its first sustainability report for the 2024 reporting year. The authors prepared the report in accordance with the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs (VSME Standard), thereby adhering to recognised criteria for structured sustainability reporting. The report serves as further preparation for upcoming legal requirements under the EU Directive (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, CSRD).

The annual report underscores the commitment to making responsibility visible, documenting progress in a transparent manner, and actively shaping sustainable transformation at Augsburg University Hospital.
