Care Team

Our team consists of certified paediatric nurses and trainees from the Academy for Healthcare Professions at Augsburg University Hospital. We are deeply committed to caring for our patients, both young and old, and their companions. We are constantly expanding our range of services with additional qualifications such as specialised care in oncology, pain management and palliative care in order to meet as many of our patients' individual needs as possible.

A loving and open approach to children, young people and their parents is very important to us. Only through a trusting relationship with parents and siblings are we able to provide optimal and holistic care. This also means that we, as a multi-professional team, work closely with the doctors, the psychosocial team and other therapists. Together, we strive to make the stay as pleasant as possible for our patients and their relatives.

As a member of the Bavarian Network for Paediatric Oncology (KIONET) of the University Hospitals of Regensburg, Würzburg, LMU Munich, TU Munich, Erlangen and Augsburg, we work together with our colleagues to develop uniform care standards and are in constant exchange about special features and innovations in paediatric oncology nursing. By pooling our professional expertise, we achieve a high common standard of care.
