The Board of Augsburg University Hospital (UKA) leads the hospital as a whole – setting the direction for excellent top-tier medicine, innovative research, forward-thinking education, dedicated care, and a strong community at UKA.
In doing so, it creates the foundation for patients, staff, and students alike to find the best possible conditions.
The Medical Director holds the chairmanship of the Board. He leads Augsburg University Hospital in accordance with legal regulations and the hospital's statutes. He represents Augsburg University Hospital both in and out of court.

The Full Committee at a Glance
The staff of the Board's office primarily prepare and follow up on committee meetings such as supervisory board meetings, board meetings, and hospital conferences. Additionally, they support the Medical Director and the Commercial Director in the preparation and follow-up of both external and internal appointments.
