Iseemobility is an employee-centered development program designed to promote international, interprofessional, and non-hierarchical exchange. It opens up new perspectives and generates innovative approaches and fresh ideas.
Since 2022, the University Hospital of Augsburg has been offering employees in the fields of medicine, nursing, and therapy the opportunity, as part of a variety of annual programs, to participate in work shadowing in Sweden, strengthen interprofessional skills, and build international networks.
A-ICP
The A-ICP programme was launched in 2024 at Augsburg University Hospital: Inspired by Scandinavian approaches, A-ICP combines a training and work shadowing programme with the establishment of interprofessional learning islands. This initiative promotes interprofessional learning and collaboration in a sustainable manner.
ILiA
At Augsburg University Hospital, interprofessional learning islands offer practical training for trainees and students in the healthcare sector. Under the guidance of practical instructors and mentors, independent work, teamwork and professional skills are promoted. At the same time, the learning islands enhance patient safety and relieve the burden on the ward team – an innovative concept for the future of training at UKA.
