Nursing is more than just a profession - it is a vocation, humanity and responsibility all at once.

On International Nursing Day on 12 May 2025, we honoured all those at the University Hospital Augsburg who, day after day, care for the well-being of our patients with heart, mind, and tireless dedication.
Because nursing means closeness, trust, strength, and sometimes simply being there when others no longer know what to do.

That was the Nursing Day 2025!

On this year's Nursing Day, we celebrated the heroes and heroines of everyday nursing care! On the forecourt of the UKA, the HITRADIO RT.1 team created a great atmosphere with an exciting live programme. In addition, the nursing staff were able to take part in numerous exciting activities: From giveaways and a wheel of fortune to a lovely thank you in the form of freshly baked cinnamon buns from the Wolf bakery. For unforgettable memories, there was a photo box with exclusive Day of Care picture frames - perfect for taking home and sharing on social media and much more!

An all-round successful day that made appreciation tangible!
